What is Rush?
Rush week can be found among the first weeks of the quarter near Dexter Lawn. It is a time when fraternities recruit new members and host them in a week-long period of rush events.
Rush week is a great opportunity for new students and those interested in going greek to learn about the fraternities on the SLO campus. For more information about rush and the fraternity community at large please visit www.uscifc.com.
Who do we look for?
At the core of everything ZBT stands for is our brotherhood. It brings a diverse membership together through common purpose and shared vision. In the broadest sense, then, we seek to initiate outstanding men who will contribute to the unrivaled brotherhood we enjoy as members of ZBT Alpha Delta. There is no single quality to be pinpointed as a prerequisite for membership. However, potential new members are generally those that have proven themselves to be men of impeccable character and moral integrity. We seek to initiate brothers who are motivated and driven to better themselves as well as others.
Additionally, the most competitive candidates for a bid will exhibit one or more of the following attributes:
- Outstanding scholastic achievement
- Strong record of leadership
- Singular athletic performance or participation
- Philanthropic involvement within the community
- Talent, regardless of field (music, performing arts, language, etc.)
