Philanthropy
With over 748 total hours of community service during the last academic year, ZBT believes in a “hands on” approach to the improvement of its immediate community.

Every single brother dedicates his time to better the quality of life on and off campus. Our community service programs include:
- Habitat For Humanity inter-chapter work day
- View Park Elementary After School Tutoring
- View Park Elementary Clean Up Day
- Planned Parenthood Los Angeles Food Fair Volunteers
- Sound of Music Chapter of the Guilds of Orange County Performing Arts Center Auction Volunteers
- Junior Blind of America Summer Games Volunteers
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Los Angeles Walk To Cure Diabetes
In addition to our volunteer activities off campus, ZBT also raised $6,725 in our annual philanthropy event. Get on the Ball is an event in which a giant inflated ball is pushed around campus and signed by members of the student body. Corporate sponsors donate money for each signature on the ball.
Then, at the end of the week, we celebrate our work with the sororities on the row by holding a Jungle Ball tournament. Our Philanthropy Get on the Ball, and our Jungle Ball tournament generated over $6,000 which was donated to the Children’s Miracle Network.
